Giorgos is a certified Rock Climbing Instructor with the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing since 2015 and has held the certification of Assistant Rock Climbing Instructor from the same federation since 2005. In 2025, he obtained the title of 3rd Class Rock Climbing Coach from the General Secretariat for Sport.

From 2005 until autumn 2015, he worked as an Assistant Rock Climbing Instructor, teaching beginner and intermediate courses at clubs of the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing. During the periods 2010 and 2012–2015, he served as Lead Instructor for climbing and sports activities at the children’s Multi Activity Camp of Livadaki Forest Village. From November 2015 to July 2019, he worked as an instructor and route setter at Rockway Climbing Gym. Since 2020, he has been the Lead Instructor for beginner and intermediate climbing courses at HFMC clubs. In 2024, he collaborated again with Rockway Climbing Gym as a route setter, and since 2023 he has been teaching at the climbing wall of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.

He has been involved in climbing since 1995 and completed his initial training at the EOS Acharnon Mountaineering Club. In 1999, he was honored by the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing for the new route “Eis Mnimin” on Skolio, Mount Olympus. He has climbed extensively on major rock faces in Greece, including Parnassus, Olympus, Astraka, Giona, Meteora, and Varassova, as well as internationally in France, Italy, the Alps, the Dolomites, Switzerland, Spain, and Turkey. He has established numerous new alpine, traditional, and sport climbing routes on Greek mountains and crags.

His experience covers the full spectrum of climbing disciplines, including traditional, sport, alpine climbing, and bouldering. Since 2004, his primary focus has been on sport climbing and bouldering, with free ascents and new routes up to French grade 8a+ and boulder problems up to Font 7b+.

He is a high school graduate and holds a Cambridge Proficiency Certificate in English.
